GM 1500 Truck Part # 4205 1. Check to make sure you have all included parts/ hardware: Your
box should contain: 1 light bar, 1 driver side frame bracket, 1 passenger side
frame bracket, 4 bolts nuts and lock washers. 2. Locate the front tow hooks. 3. Remove the inside nut and lower bolt from each tow hook. 4. Position the bracket on passenger side frame rail as shown in picture below with the position of the rounded end ear of bracket forward and up.
Passenger side frame rail 5. Duplicate the procedure for the drivers side frame bracket. 6. Tighten bolts and nuts. 7. Insert the light bar brackets through the openings in the plastic valance panel with light bar bracket located on the outside of the frame bracket. 8. Match the two holes on the light bar brackets with the two holes on the frame brackets. 9. Insert the supplied ½” bolts through the mating holes, start the lock washer, nut and hand tighten. 10. Adjust the light bar up and down until the surface of the light tabs are parallel with the ground (or) in line with the bodylines of the truck. Hint: tighten one of the two bolts on each side a little more than hand tight so the light bar will hold its position until you have adjusted it properly. 11. Tighten the four ½” bolts. 12.
