03’-06’ DODGE 2500-3500 Light bar instructions

On sport model trucks the light bar brackets may interfere with the bumper cover.

The bumper cover is molded plastic and all covers do not fit the same. Worst case, the bracket will touch on the under side of the opening in the bumper cover.

If installing on sport model truck the bumper can be realigned to minimize interference.

1.      If your Dodge does not have factory tow hooks go to step 6.

2.      If your Dodge has factory tow hooks, remove the tow hooks.

3.      Locate your new light bar so the brackets will sandwich between the tow hooks and the frame. NOTE: The light bar needs to be “rolled” into place by inserting the lower end of the brackets into the opening first and “rolling” it up into position.

4.      Re-install the tow hooks, using the factory tow hook bolts with the bolts going through the tow hook, the light bar bracket and then the frame brackets. Do not tighten.

5.      Align the light bar side to side until it is centered in the opening and then tighten all hardware.

6.      If your dodge does not have the factory tow hooks remove the plastic filler panels on each side of the opening in the middle of the bumper. NOTE: Factory tow hooks and hardware can be purchased at your local Dodge dealership if you would like to install tow hooks at this time. Tow hooks are not necessary for the installation of the light bar.

7.      Notice the 4 holes in the frame on each side that line up with the light bar brackets.

8.      Install the light bar using the supplied hardware. Do not tighten. NOTE: The light bar needs to be “rolled” into place by inserting the lower end of the brackets into the opening first and “rolling” it up into position.

9.      Align the light bar side to side until it is centered in the opening and then tighten all hardware.

Install the lights of your choice and enjoy
